I was happy to hear 1215 do this as it would have been so disrespectful to have just switched off. Although I didn't listen to the Light Service, or Radio 1
and only dipped into Virgin and Absolute on the odd occasion I still respect the signal from 1214 / 1215 because it was there when I was born i.e. 1954 and for that alone it did disserve to close with dignity and it did.
