Yes Mark, as I have said elsewhere - the BBC was not always bad & I've got those Round the horns & the Ministry men on my computer & often listen to them in the bath! A later one you may not have heard of: Parsley Sidings - (Arthur Lowe, Ian Lavender Kennith Connor etc - & don't miss Clara the station hen!) About an old railway station !
A rented radio - now you are going back to Cats whisker radio! - we were quite happy with our old Pye radio, it crackled now & then, but a good thump cured it for a while Dad eventually resoldered a dry joint in it. Happy old days.
