I remember when Princess Diana was killed and all the stations went into morbid mode - except one, which was Atlantic 252. OK, so it wasn't a British station, but it could easily have followed all the UK stations by boring and depressing listeners with sombre songs, but it didn't.
Back to today's radio following the death of the Queen. Would she, or anyone, want listeners to become depressed by listening to these stations? That's what they are: depressing.
As for the BBC (which I never watch or listen to, but I have read online how they have dedicated all BBC1's airtime to the death of the Queen, which should please the deranged Daily Mail) and ITV... don't get me started on them!
