Looking back it was pretty obvious, there were several applicants for AM licenses and all looked pretty good compared to the Caroline application, but were all rejected.

The Caroline license application was littered with phrases like we will tell you if we get the license.

I think the thing that swung it though was our programmes will be so good they will not affect the ratings of any other station in the area.

Times have changed since then, I think I would listen more if it was on DAB.
