Just to put this to bed.

I can confirm that Atlantis Radio issued a high court libel writ v Raymond Copeland last year.

This was only issued after Mr Copeland had been given the chance to make an apology and a legal undertaking.

Sadly for reasons only known to him Mr Copeland denied he was the person using a twitter account under the fake name of Nick Alburn which he used to make various libelous allegations v Atlantis Radio.

After instructing lawyers to represent him Mr Copeland then admitted he was in fact the person behind the twitter account and a full written admission was made.

Our lawyers agreed to settle the matter with nominal damages + our costs.

The overall cost to Mr Copeland including our lawyers fees + his lawyers fees and damages is estimated to be in the region of 50/60000 Pounds.

This is the second incident that we have had over the last 5 years the first being Malcolm Smith (AKA Peter Moore) being exposed by our lawyers as the person behind a blog under the name of Roger Glover (Deep Purple LOL that little incident maybe cost us and him around 40000 in lawyers fees.

Over the last 5 years we have had to put up with various other incidents in involving fanatics including my wife being threatened tyres slashed on her car annonoymous letters etc etc etc (All this was reported to our lawyers at the time)

Sadly although i would like to think this will be the end of the matter it looks like we will further be having to take 2 more legal actions over the next few weeks which will no doubt end up costing various lunatics thousands as we pursue them through the courts through to possible bankruptcy if they don't pay up.

Total madness that's the last i will say about this matter so please don't troll me as there will be no response.
