With the greatest of respect, as per my earlier post,where does this nonsense that "MW will be closed down" come from?
Just how does that happen exactly?
It maybe that the BBC & certain commercial stations stop using it but that doesn't close the band down.
For example Dutch National stations have stopped using it in favour of FM & DAB but all the Dutch PTT have done is licensed low power community stations.
If stations are willing to pay Ofcom for a MW licence do you really think they will turn that offer down?
There are more frequencies available now than ever before.
The Dutch don't seem to think that the band should be "closed down" so why should we in the UK?
