These rajar figers show DAB at 41.1% of all listening AM/FM 32.1% DTV just 4.5% & online is 22.4% . First of all I was not even aware DAB had overtaken AM/FM ! .I suppose there are more stations on DAB so that could explan this.
4.5% for Digital TV listening this has been dropping for years & would not be surprised If some stations pull off the platform in the future ?
The big one has to be the online listening figers that just keep growing year on year, it quite possible that some AM/FM stations may have a majority of there listener's listening on line at times especially though smart speakers 🔊.
The question has DAB peaked I think it has .
I do think no one expected the growth of online listening & no one predicted the effect of the smart speakers on listening.
Next I think will be the effect of the likes of android auto & car play & the likes of alexa is cars! , this will also see online listening increased .
