Ray Dio, I take your point re 72Kbts,64_QAM,20Khz bandwidth which is v similar to what i read when reading up about the new generation of DRM radios, that are now in China and India,and the DRM Consortium state these figs for the radios to be produced in Switzerland. The point i wish to ask you Ray Dio, is why use such a low bit rate as 16.4Kbs bandwidth of 9khz in Europe on MW DRM, i get the point about the number of channels that you might need, mostly for speech, but what about music channels that would need a higher bit rate,and freq bandwidth, for good fidelity.Rgds Mike
