Hey those little £20 pounders?
I did promise a review of that last Summer when I bought one for my mum but needless to say it is still in the box
Nice looking little thing with LW to but respectfully do you really think a £20 granny/ workmate radio today is going to pay for the insulation in your pension attic in 10 or 20 years
If you do would you like to have 6 of them
As it goes if you ever buy from jolly good fellow Mike Weston at the Caroline Webshop you might get a leaflet with a potted station history with your purchase. On the back is an illustration of the exact same radio so you could try selling them for anorak credibility
If ours ever gets unboxed (we have a plug in oven here for 3.5 years never switched on because I am too lazy to bend down and give it the pre start clean. The shame I know. What a horrible son I am) you might hear more about this Roberts 993. Also importantly if you want to buy Roberts they sell direct with free delivery so as I have said here before about shopping for new shiny things always see if the manufacturer still makes them and will sell direct rather than the middle person / man / bot mark up
Good luck with your investments and remember solid state components do deteriorate over time
