Ireland was given 252 for domestic use so Atlantic could not overtly beam their signal to England.
Even so UK commercial radio put in a complaint to the ITU, pointing out that the planning application for the aerial had said they needed good coverage of the UK. But the ITU ruled that it was justifiable 'spillage'.
