Every radio broadcasting system that requires new receivers is deemed. Even DAB is suffering, despite much promotion.
Remember how long it took before FM became dominant, over 30 years.
DRM+ however is a better system than DAB =, better sound and more outlets per Mhz. Also it takes only a few broadcasters for a multiplex, making it easier to come to agreements. (All those digital systems with multiplexing need agreements by the users, broadcasters, since they are all in the same boat. This has proven a serious hurdle in Holland for DAB +)
