Re: Whatever happened to Digital Radio Mondiale ?
This rather reminds me of previous battles between broadcasting standards. I am old enough to remember the war between NTSC, SECAM and PAL over colour TV, and the even bigger conflict between VHS, Betamax and Philips 2000. All obsolete now, of course. I need hardly remind anyone on this forum that there is one sound broadcasting standard that has lasted for 100 years and is still going strong and another one that is around 75 years old. I wonder if they will both outlast DRM. DAB and DAB+?
