Interesting responses. The station is still in Beta mode and will evolve as more content is added. To avoid being permanently manned, the choices are to either broadcast the content playlist from beginning to end, restarting at the end, or to have random rotational airplay which we have chosen. Obviously repeats will happen if you listen non stop, but the idea is to dive in at random times when content will be on a "pot luck" basis. As more content is added daily and possibly some removed, there should be more chance of catching fresh material. It's not really designed for all-day listening.
Regarding the "cloak and dagger" comment, the prime purpose of the station is to provide academic facilities for research and media studies course work whilst recording an important period in the history of European commercial radio.
If, after a few months it is not a success, it will be closed and operations transferred to Mixcloud where listening can be done on an "on-demand" basis.
