Hi Mike,
I assume you are using a Tecsun AN-200 in the house, A frame/loop antenna sensitivity depends on
the area of the coil, i.e. how big it is. The AN-200 is around 9 inches diameter coil
which is a practical size, inside on a desk etc

If you want to try a Larger one for increased sensitivity, without much outlay
All you need to try it, is a Cardboard box, some bell wire from say Wilko or similar hardware store
and a Tuning Capacitor from EBay, instant DIY loop !

As we said before, a large loop inside would not be ideal, but If you have a discrete spot in the garden
or above a garage, where a larger loop could sit, with coax bringing signal into house,
could then have a coupling coil to put next to the radio, or even use the Tecsun as one, with its socket
