When I do listen to Sunshine Radio Online a lot of the time I do love the personalities on the station and the guy on at 9am today, a Scottish fellow was a good listen before I switched over to a talk station (my mind preferred it at the time).
My problem with this station is the very limited way of contacting them, they only seem to do Facebook and then complain about it.
Also the website is very poor, no idea who is broadcasting, or on the schedule. Even for a station that is voluntary this will never attract new listeners just there facebook friends. It is so hard to advertise it to ordinary people.
The smart speaker is ok'ish, however not having a unique name for a station that is only on the WWW is a drawback and nowhere easily accessible to see the schedule means you have to take pot luck to seek out your preferred presenter.
They need someone who is good at marketing and promotion, in not only new social media, but also the old social media of a website plus new contact media like instagram and whatsapp etc... which isn't even really that new.
