The one Im thinking of was by Candy Choir in 1970.

I have done some research on it by looking it checking through a few of the vinyl websites and it does look like Barry Ryan was featured on this single. I wasnt aware of this until a few days ago as it was very seldom played on the radio and never played on UK national radio back in the day.

It looks like thos is the one I'm after
