In 2024 I was volunteered to 'work' at a nearby aviation museum which is located on the site of the former RAF Sopley radar station, where I served in 1974.

Since then I have been researching and documenting the history of RAF Sopley from its inception in 1940. We now have a booklet on sale in the museum giftshop and yet new information continues to emerge.
Here's a question - what is the derivation of the term RDF?
