In March 2025 Hjalmar Heinen, a much respected and beloved member of the 1250 community died. For fourteen years before his death, Hjalmar acted as my agent and assistant in Germany, diligently overseeing the production and distribution of my Saratoga Model Shipyard masters.

At the time of his death, Hjalmar had six of my masters in his possession which he hoped to get produced. It took me almost a year before I was able to find and contact the executor to his estate, Reinhardt Weber.

I contacted Mr. Weber seeking the return of the masters to me. He refused saying I have no right to them. I asked what price he wanted for the masters, and in the alternative offered to get the masters produced and to donate ALL my share of profits to the estate. He did not respond.

I have no idea what Mr. Weber intends to do with the masters or why he refused my offers. These masters only have monetary value if they can be produced and sold to collectors. There are only a few producers left capable of doing that. All of them know me or know of my work.

I request that if any of you comes into possession of them, or knows where they have gone, that you please contact me, because they are, and always have been, my property.
