I am experimenting with making my own sheets of decals. I would appreciate advice on which brand of spray varnish to use to seal the printed decal sheets and how many coats to apply. Initially I used 3 coats (as recommended by maker of blanks) of Army Painter satin varnish but it dried very brittle meaning it was impossible to cut without the edges flaking. Next I tried 2 coats but still too brittle so will try just 1 coat next. So if anyone has got a successful ‘recipe’ I would welcome any advice please.
