When I used to live in the US I used to buy directly from Pete.
On my return to the UK I continued to buy direct but customs duty was a strange hit or miss experience.
When it became better organised I really objected to the fixed processing charge plus the duty.
After Brexit it became impossible to make purchases direct.
I've really enjoyed finishing and painting my Superiors over 25 years.
