At the Wellow Ship Show, the latest Coastlines prototype made an appearance. This is a full-hull model of a Skipjack-class submarine.I had painted up four different versions of the iconic teardrop-shaped submarine models: One with the lower halk painted red, based on drawings and photographs of Skipjack, two in light and dark grey camouflage as Scorpion and Sculpin, and one in weathered black overall to represent the "United Nations Submarine" in the film "Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea". All of these models are being cast in Easiflow S60 polyurethane resin and are supplied with 5-blade propellers. Other versions will be possible in future but unpainted castings will not be available. A number of Triang and Hornby Presentation Packs have been found at the Antics Warehouse. They are with me for the coming week so that I can check that the contents are correct for the period of the boxes. None of them are in "mint" condition but they are allpotentially of interest to collectors:

Yesterday, I had an email from Rhenania to say that the parcel containing Twelve-Fifty Models and the River Tankers tghat sank in the Black Sea was on its way to Antics. These will be entered up on the Anticsonline website as soon as possible to be ordered directly from Antics.
