the quality of these prints is so far ahead of some I have worked on they're almost unbelievable!

The most onerous job on the Kongo was drilling out the tops to take the higher masts. 2 coats of deck paint was also demanding followed by all of the necessary touch-ups!

The worst printed models were the white nylon 'cheese grater' ones sourced via Shapeways.It took me around 50 hours to my QE carrier - from initial filling to final coat of varnish to seal the decals.
