I am sure that all readers of this board will have seen the excerpt of a propaganda film showing Grand Admiral Donitz tapping a Wiking model of Rodney on the palm of his other hand before placing it on a map.
OK, then:
Is the model of the Rodney the same model in both photographs? (same film crew perhaps?)
Who are the the people in the photographs? (real pilots or extras, or even the film crew)
Is that a dueling scar on the officers face and, if so, who is the officer?
Why is the officer performing an attack by dive bombers from the side? (propaganda, dominant right hand, composition of the photo by the camera man, ignorance?)
What was the source of this photograph?
