The other two new models at Antics Warehouse are:
Empress of Ireland (Canadian Pacific, 1911), often referred to as Canada's Titanic which was rammed, and she sank quickly off Nova Scotia, by the large, fast, tramp bulk carrier, Storstad in fog in Spring,1914, with heavy loss of life. The model is by Albatros, AL307. As far as I am aware, no model of this Storstad has been made but I seem to recall that there might have been a 1/1200 scale kit made of a Storstad (II).
The third model is a limited edition of HMT Olympic in 1917 dazzle camouflage and is by Albatros, AL150A-S. This is said to be the camouflage pattern that Olympic carried when she rammed and sank U103. After the sinking, Olympic was given a different pattern. The casting used for limited edition model is different from 1914/15 troopship version that Albatros made last year. The new casting has the heavier defensive armament that was fitted to the ship when she was taking US troops to France later in the war. Albatros has told us that only 25 models will be made.
