I neither met nor knew Tony, but I bought many of the 1/3000 model ships back in the late 1980s- early 1990s.

I passed these on years ago, but always thought they were nice models, reasonably priced and easy to fit a lot in a little space.

Although WW2 was a favourite I also had many liners and modern, Falklands era RN ships.
