A pleasant day in an interesting location. Entry was free, so I don't know how many people came.
There was a lot of interesting conversation on all manner of things. I'm not disappointed with my sales (which would have been higher, if wives hadn't forbidden their husbands to buy) and I brought a lot of books home with me.
Sharpness Docks is an interesting place - I'd have liked to have had a chance to explore more.
The event was a 'one-off' but if it were decided to repeat it next year, I would certainly think of attending.
I'm reminded that years back the late Michael Hayes of Saxon used to hold mini Mini-Ship Shows at a location in Gravesend(?) - himself, Steve Cracknell & John Staggs together with stallholders like the local RNLI branch, etc. Whether or not it would work on 2024 I don't know. Over to you Neville Khan ...
