People will recall the 'Ship Shows' organised in the Bristol area by Bernard, Doreen & Iain McCall of 'Coastal Shipping' - now, sadly, only a memory.

Iain has been in touch to say that this year is the 150th anniversary of the opening of the docks at Sharpness, near Gloucester and that, as part of a summer of events, there will be a 'Maritime Enthusiasts Day' at the docks on Saturday 17th August. I'm not privy to what is happening but I've been asked to attend and, DV, I will be there with my stall.
