I have been renovating some British Eaglewall destroyers after acquiring a job lot of spares. I was a little puzzled that there appeared to be two versions of the Hardy. One had the bridge “wings” the other no “wings”. The “wings” are a U shaped piece that fits round the Bridge (

The flat piece is from a Hardy kit the one on the sprue from an H Class kit. However recently I bought a second Hardy kit. What I noticed was the exploded diagram did not show the “wings”.
However the box art and the plan views did clearly show the “wings”. I also looked at the Neptun Hardy and while a much finer model it had bridge wings.
Thus I conclude the Hardy should have the bridge wings fitted and the exploded diagram is in error. Thgis also probably accounts for the relatively large number of spare "wings" in my batch of spares. I have attached the exploded diagram for Hardy and the H Class Destroyer kit. Anybody have any thoughts?
