A Mercury model battleship (Montecuccoli ?) was my first 1200 waterline model. Then Triang Caronia bought from that great but long gone model emporium, Redgates of Sheffield in 1959 at age 9. Followed by most of the Triang models in the following 3 years. Renewed (by purchase) entire collection since retiring some 10 years ago. Now have mint or virtually mint 1st series collection (including RMS Carmania) supplemented by some 2nd and 3rd series models.
