Thanks for your replies. I have managed to find out what the models are by playing around with various headings on google and eventually came up with pictures of the models.
They are listed as "De Agostini 1/1100 Scale Japanese Warships" The range seems to be quite large from what i can see from the listing and my impression is looking at them a bit better than a Atlas Model.
