We have a few things in common - I too had a relative (Great Aunt & her husband) go to Canada in the early twenties. I've never been able to find what ship they went on. They didn't last long in Canada, not being able to find suitable work, and were "crowdfunded" by the family to return.
This, combined with my youth watching the "Empresses" in the Mersey, meant I have collected CPR vessels when I can.
I dont believe there's any currently available model of the Metagama.
I do have an AL187, and very nice she is.
