Sarah, the Dinky scale is 1/1800, so they are tiny next to a 1200/1250 model. I'm a keen dinky collector as well as other models, and have accumulated a complete set of the dinky and chad valley 1/1800 models. As a group they make a lovely display. I've bided my time and only bought fatigue free examples when they come up - the ones that have fatigue really do rip themselves to pieces. I have found one or two fatigued but complete submarines that I experimented on - leaving them soaking overnight in superglue, and then drying them out slowly. They have held together for a decade OK.

I don't think LJ made a "Britain", it's probably a Japan / Scotland.
