My understanding is that up to 1978, flight decks were officially BS381C 632 Dark Admiralty Grey or as an alternate BS381C 638 Dark Sea Grey. Other painted metal decks were Mid Brunswick Green BS 381 / 226.

Post 1978, all painted decks adopted the same dark grey.

I guess there was a substantial changeover period and considerable variation in just what shade those supposedly standard colours appeared to be.
