Just received this in an email. His death was posted on here some time ago, of course, but it seems his business will not continue:-
"Dear customers and friends of L. Wiedling,
Today we sadly have to inform you that our father and father-in-law, Mr. Peter Wiedling, went on his last journey at the age of 94 and left us forever. He was buried in Grünwald near Munich alongside his wife, who passed away three years ago.
Some time ago Peter retired from active business life and then said goodbye to you. The long-standing business of the L. Wiedling company is now coming to an end.
We wish to all of you all the best and thank you very much for your loyalty to our company, many of our customer relationships have lasted for decades.
Yours sincerely,
The Wiedling Family"
