Thanks for that. I didn't know about the display boxes. I guess they were copying the Triang display boxes of which I have a couple (unless it was the other way round).

I have 5 Mercury ships boxed in the regular boxes (red and blue) with their paper slip recording their details, the others were loose but on the whole in good condition. Although I could do with some spare funnel transfers for some of my duplicates. Do you know whether the Victoria (no. 456) had a C transfer on the funnel? Mine does not and neither does the model depicted in sammelhafen.de. My copy has had the decks repainted but I am not sure about the funnel.

Where they ever marketed in the UK? They appear uncommon and even the Italian ebay doesn't seem to have any listed, unless as usual I got that wrong!

I will try and get a photo of my "fleet" but it will take some time.
