I decided to paint my Beardmore model in Victorian colours - as I think this scheme suits such an unusual design.

Building this model has shown me that I need to modify some of the components and then make new moulds to make assembly more straightforward.

I also need to devise a more convincing 'buff' - the shade used here dried more yellow than I wanted.
