I have wanted to make a model of this innovative design for some time. After a lot of work I now have my first 'proving model' completed.

Including the 8 davits (not yet fitted) this model comprises 40 pieces and, in keeping with the 'title', it has proved to be a pig to build!

However, now that it's done I am reasonably happy with it. There are some niggles to sort out and, possibly, a re-interpretation of how it might have appeared in service.









I now have another Corgi PoW to work on and will return to the Beardmore in a few weeks time.
