In my case I am to borrow a phrase "intensely relaxed" about what models I buy. My collections mix up both expensive one offs and Charity Shop finds in a cheerful jumble.
So I apologise to those who are serious devotees of a single manufacturer or modelmaker.
To give an example outside our hobby. My model cars and trucks tended to be Corgi rather than Dinky. But in one instance thanks to my birthday I ended up with both makers' Jaguar Mark X saloon cars. As a kid I liked the Corgi better because its bonnet opened as well as the boot. Later I liked the Dinky better because it was sleeker and more Jag like. As an adult I realised both were not very good likenesses of the large and bulbous real thing.
So to Clive and Dave I assure you nothing personal is meant by comments about the T23.
To give another example Triang's County Class destroyers look nothing like the real thing, you need Albatros for that. But they look right alongside Bulwark or Centaur.
