Re: CNC HMS Sheffield
Ralph your comment on the designer was uncalled for and rude. I dont know why you think I should be interested in models made by other companies especially defunct ones. My ship collection is a Triang one as is my railway one. As said before you have not seen this model so your comment is fictional. As for bedsteads I prefer divans. As I also said I dont understand the negativity being expressed by people for whom the model is not intended, have no part of anything to do with it and have too much time on their hands. My main aim is to attract new people to the hobby. For less than £30 this ship is a bargain and it does what it says on the tin! My tin not yours. After a busy day like any one else I can happily chat away and bat away the ignorant comments which show a lack of understanding of my purpose. Of course you can say what you like on this site but I wonder why you do. It is not good for the hobby is it and my skin is thick enough to speak up for that which has taken much time and money. Maybe you think I shouldnt have bought the former Mountford range from Matthew? Maybe I should not have had all these models converted to metal from resin! Maybe I shouldnt have decided that the first ships to remake from the range should be related to the 40th Anniversary of the Falklands. But I have and most of the time the experience is enjoyable. To conclude your comment on my designer was most rude and unkind.
