Flight decks and aircraft
If these are your only criteria then all three 1/1250s fall short. However these two aspects are relatively speaking the easiest to correct. If the Mtfd/CNC illustrated had been 'out of the box' that would have been a fair comparison but it was nowhere near; see Nathan’s remarks and Jeff’s pictures. If the Corgi too was "suitably enhanced of course" it would look really good; great shame it was not manufactured with a removable lower full that could have been held in place by two longer screws. The Corgi is clearly not designed for us waterline collectors who also do not need aircraft secured to the deck. But at about £50 it compares very favourably with Mountford/CNCs at £80 and the ALK at about £180. As already remarked we still await a reasonably priced, accurate and sharply cast waterline model.
