In 1982 the Admiralty Motor Boat Register states only three boats were allocated to HMS ENDURANCE. a 31' Survey Boat 7102 JAMES CAIRD, a 28ft General Service Launch 69101 and a 27ft Motor Whaler 7008.

These would have been on her when she sailed for Falklands before the conflict started.

Not sure whether she ever had two whalers.
