An excellent idea - would she be afloat or 'full hull'?

To me its not so much a matter of whether or not she should be preserved (she should - the 'Tons' are very much a part of the 50s/60s fleet - we got our moneys worth from them) but that its a miracle that any have survived so long. A seventy year old design, I doubt if it was expected that any would still be about now, and built with an average wartime life expectancy of three or four days.

A better choice for preservation might be 'Wilton'
