John was my friend. He had been worried about the health of some of his family members. I certainly didn't expect him to be the one to pass.

The VERY LAST1:1250 model that I bought was a Youngerman model that I had commissioned from him.

I am VERY shocked and saddened by this news. truly a great, great loss especially to the US naval modeling scene! Rest in Peace, my friend.
