How you descibe an item is key.You cannot describe the LJ models/kits as 'new' because they are not. 'As new' they might be. The only alternative to 'new' is 'used' - and they clearly would not be 'used'. eBay discourages sellers from describing items 'as new' on the spurious grounds that this can be misleading.
I have some items on eBay at present where I have said in the narrative box that I have had to describe them as 'used' because I am not a dealer and cannot therefore describe them as 'new'. I have also said they have never been used and are in 'as new' condition.
Photos are imortant to back up your written description - I always tell people to check out the photos.
One advantage you might have in selling LJ models is that those who will be buying them will know what they are and from your photos will instantly understand the condition.
eBay will hit you with charges - as will any 'auction house'. When you see what the models are fetching you might want to offer them through here (if that is allowed)at a fixed price that is realisitic for you and potential buyers.
