As a buyer never had any major issues with dealers, everything arrives quickly, safely and well packaged. Some part-time/amateur sellers under estimate the Royal Mails ability to stress test packaging and the contents. Never any real disasters though. Also post delivery of signed-for items doesn't mean the person doing thedelivery will get the signature which can be an issue later.
The only real problems I've had are with electronics and then only on a couple of purchases.
My son has sold quite a lot of car bits over the years. Him and his brother like old BMWs and buying wrecks salvaging the parts you need for a restoration and selling more bits to other petrol-heads can be profitable. BUT he's had a couple of issues where items have been delayed or not delivered, even signed for as above, in that case eBay/PayPal always go with the purchaser and refund them.
These days I check negative feedback before buying from someone new. How they deal with problems is important.
If you do start selling then please let us know your monicker.
