For my 1:1250 QE model I used a mix of the original Mountford decals, some white straight straight lines, some homemade and numbers from Model Art, https://www.modartdec.com/general-decals.html.
Jean-Piere Desprez at Model Art mentioned that he was intrerested in branching out into decals for model warships. He was very helpful and the quality of his decals seems excellent - might be worth talking to him.
Two suggestions I would make:
For the flight deck, there are very obvious and distinctive colour patches, the same on both HMS Queen Elizabeth and HMS Prince of Wales, I assume heat resistant treatments for the F35 landing pads. These seem to be missing on existing painted models. Also the commercial models seem to get the black-yellow hazard markings around the lifts wrong.
Also, as well as flight deck markings, the ships crest and large video screens are quite obvious on these ships and need to be represented, I think. I did mine with home-made decals which were a bit low resolution - I'm sure you could do much better.
I'm looking forward to seeing your finished product.
