Hi! I've just aquirred an 18yr old T/B broodmare as a companion horse. She's had 7 foals on the books and mayby some off, now can a well used brood mare look pregnant even if she's not? her belly is round at the bottom, but she's not that wide from the front or back. She's got fluid in her udders which is very translucent yellow or white (it changes every other day) her udder size has not changed at all. I've done a wee foal test on her & it came back negative, but they're only good till 300 days. I've had her for 3 weeks now & she's had no change apart from not being sociable with the other horses.
Please help!
