Well...Only 2 hours away from seeing the X-Files film. Going with Holly, Salome, Tom and others. Just watched Modern Prometheus to get ready...think I'm going to go watch the pilot now (the part in the pilot where the radio in the car goes nuts, etc, and Mulder stops the car, opens the trunk, gets out the spraypaint and sprays a big "x" on the road while looking about suspisciously...and then Sculy asks what that was about and he says "oh, you know, probably nothing" is still my absoluet favorite X-Files moment.)
I'm more psyched about this than most other summer movies. It seems so odd for them to even make one now. but I'm hoping it's creepy and haunting and low-key. I'm really excited. I just read Ebert's review...gave it 3 1/2 stars (and used the word creepy and subdued.) Looking forward to an xfile movie...no big explosions, car chases, guns...just mood.
Give you my thoughts after the midnight show.
