Someday I hope to attend Flashback Weekend but until then I guess I'll try our local convention this weekend: Motor City Nightmares... I am looking forward to it. With the exception of a Fangoria Weekend of Horrors years ago I've never been to a "Horror Con" if that's what you would call it.

This convention is a part of the Night of the Living Dead Reunion tour however I got a e-mail notice over the weekend that George Romero will be unable to attend however Tobe Hooper (director of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Poltergeist, etc.) will be there in his place.
I was offered a refund but I honestly want to support more of these types of events and would not dream of a refund. Easy to say of course when you live nearby.
All that and Uwe Boll movies too! 
Hopefully it will be a good time, if not there's always time to slip out and see The Dark Knight ;-)
