Yeah, I wish I could've seen that Bill Thornbury footage! What you told me about it sounded awesome. Too bad we had to turn those tapes over to Don right away. Here's hoping for a Blu-Ray PHANTASM with our footage on the dvd as extras!
Yeah, all the NOTLD people seemed so happy to be there and talk to people. I mean, c'mon, Bill Hinzman even dressed up as a zombie on Sat!
And wasn't Caroline Williams too cool? Wish I had more time to talk to her.
And of course, I'm jealous over your Danielle harris interaction. So cute!
I think another thing that was really cool was the one and only panel discussion they had on Sunday about how to break into film and indie vs Hollywood. You had Romero, Don Coscarelli, the producer of Mandy Lane, Roy Frumkes...it was great. If we hadn't have been taping it for Don we probably would've missed it. Which would've been a shame because that was great. So often with the NOTLD panel, or Phantasm panel, etc...you're kinda hearing the same stuff you've heard again and again...it's just cool to see all those people. But this panel seemed very fresh and new. I think watching that was when I was like, "now that's George Romero."
All in all, very fun!
